Rachel Callaghan
The Bride
Rachel has lived up and down the east coast throughout her life and was living in Wilmington, North Carolina, attending the university of north Carolina - Wilmington when she first met Graham in 2016. She now lives with Graham in Florida, enjoying the warm weather and being in Graham’s company.
Rachel is currently working at the Tapestry Fulfillment Center in Jacksonville, Florida, and has been surprised by how fulfilling her career is growing to be. She has found a strong interest and sense of purpose in the impact she can have on others within the operations field.
Rachel’s first love, which she discovered at a young age, is music. She plays several instruments and had always hoped that whomever she would fall in love with would share the same passion.
Rachel also enjoys many other forms of art including painting, drawing, photography, videography, and the list continues.
Rachel cherishes time spent with friends and family, relaxing with her husky/malamute mix, Kalani, reading, and stressing herself out by trying to learn VBA, HTML, javascript, and SQL all in one go.
Graham Rattray
The groom
Graham was born and raised in Raleigh, North Carolina. At the age of eighteen, Graham relocated to Wilmington, North Carolina, where he met Rachel five years later.
Graham recently graduated from The Fire Academy of the South and now works as a firefighter/EMT in the town of Orange Park at Station 19.
Coincidentally, Graham also has a passion for music which has endured throughout his childhood and today. While Graham considers himself a bassist, he is a vastly talented individual and can play virtually any instrument he picks up. Graham played the bass with a local Wilmingtonian band, Elephant Convoy, and was friends with the majority of Wilmington’s college-aged population for several years.
Graham is a social butterfly and loves meeting new people, going out for a drink, and being present for the best moments in life. Rachel’s pup, Kalani, has grown fond of Graham, but Graham is able to win over almost any dog or cat he meets.
He also won over Theta, Rachel’s mother, which is a very significant achievement.
